symbolic points for mountain biking in the province of Castellón, as
the Desert de les Palmes and the additional ascent to the Bartolo.
You can rent a bike at In Bike, in Borriol.
You will leave towards Benicàssim on asphalt, climbing almost 9
kilometers to crown the Desert de les Palmes.
You will find signage at each kilometer that will let you know what
slopes you will face.
You will take a wide dirt track that passes through the Centre d’Espiritualitat
Santa Teresa, until you reconnect with the asphalt.

You will ride the last kilometers of ascent on the other side,
turning off to the right to climb up to the Bartolo. Ramps of
13% await you in 2 very demanding kilometers that
will provide you with one of the best views in the whole province. Enjoy the
panoramic almost 360o that you will have earned with your effort.
The rest of the route is practically all downhill, towards Borriol, in this
case by dirt tracks.

Dare to discover the Sierra de los Albares by mountain bike.
You can rent a bicycle at Tesoros del Palancia, in Bejís.
We will leave towards Teresa passing by the Mirador de las Ventas, and towards Viver
and Jérica, where we will take the Camino de Benaval, which
will lead us directly to the heart of the Sierra de los Albares.
Huge dirt tracks and the climb from Randurias to Benaval, with 4.25
kilometers at 4.6%, mark one of the most intense points of this route.
The most technical part will be practically finished, since
we will descend to connect with the Ojos Negros Greenway, the most extensive in Spain,

You will arrive in Jérica, recommended point in this experience for
to enjoy the local gastronomy, or its history and culture, with its castle or
its viewpoints.

The return is comfortable, although almost always with positive slope,
passing this time through Torás.
Return your bike in Tesoros del Palancia, a perfect name also
to illustrate this experience.

You will leave on the Senda de les Pedreres, a wide dirt track. The first
part of the route is demanding, with some ramps that reach 10%, although
does not require excessive technique, except in some specific sections.
A segregated lane will allow you to reach Sant Joan de Moró and take the
trails that pass by the Ermita de Sant Miquel and Ermita de San Vicente.
One of the most demanding sections of the route with 4 kilometers at 6% of
average slope.
We will return by dirt tracks that require some technique, by the
slope of the descent, but we will continue in this case to Castellón de
la Plana, by the segregated lane.

Verde del Mar.
