If you are staying in Castellón de la Plana we propose you this experience for
to live a day of pure cycling in the heart of the province and in one
of its most symbolic places for cycling tourism.
You can rent your bike, muscular or electric, in Emebikes.
We recommend you to bring flat pedals or shoes because you will combine
different tourist experiences that will also require you to walk.
You will cross Castellón de la Plana by its bike lane, to go to the Desert
de les Palmes.
Before starting the ascent, we will make a stop at the Interpretation Center
Castell Vell. You will be able to leave your bikes there, visit the Castle
de Fadrell, or the Ermita de la Magdalena, apart from the
interpretation center itself.
The march continues with one of the mythical ascents of the province, the
ascent to the Desert de les Palmes, where you will find signage of what
awaits you at every kilometer.
You can make a stop at the Restaurant Desierto de las Palmas that
you will find at the top, with infrastructure and services for cyclists.
Descending towards Benicàssim, we will head towards Oropesa del Mar by
secondary roads without traffic, and that constitute a constant viewpoint.

The return to Castellón de la Plana is much flatter, taking the Vía
Verde del Mar.
You will pass by the Torre de la Corda or the Torre Colomera.
Between Benicàssim and Castellón you will find segregated roads that
