Alcalà de Xivert City Council

Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre is a municipality separated into two nuclei, in which we find both inland and coastal areas. We share with Peñíscola and Santa Magdalena de Pulpis the Natural Park of the Serra d’Irta, in which there are marked variety of hiking and mountain biking routes of all types of difficulty and for all ages. We have private companies that offer bicycle rental service for locals and visitors in high seasons such as Easter and summer. Throughout the municipality, we have bike lanes that connect the different areas of this, and will be expanding to make Alcala-Alcossebre a fully sustainable municipality through the use of cycles.
