This website has been designed and programmed following the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) guidelines, www.w3.org/wai), which sets international standards in the creation of web content accessible to everyone and the Patronato de Turismo de Diputación de Castellón is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Royal Decree 1112/2018, of September 7, on accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices of the public sector..

This statement was prepared on December 4, 2024.
The method used to prepare the statement has been an evaluation carried out by a third party (SERINZA SOLUTIONS SL).
Semi-automatic validation tools:
– W3C HTML (X) Validator: A free online code validation service that checks the conformance of documents against W3C grammars and other HMTL (X) standards.
– SortSite is another online tool, from the private company Powermapper Software, that allows you to check the accessibility of a web page for both WCAG 1.0 and 2.1 as well as other accessibility standards such as US Section 508.
– The Wave is a free validation tool based on WCAG 2.1 and US Section 508 standards. It is developed by WebAIM (Accessibility in Mind), a non-profit organization of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University. This validator not only performs a detailed accessibility analysis but also provides information about the content and structure of pages to help developers perform those tasks that require personal decision making.
– Axe Accessibility is a free validation tool that can be added as an extension for different browsers such as Chrome or Firefox.
– Tawdis.net Used to check for accessibility problems and locate in source code those errors.
– WCAG Color Contrast Checker, a plug-in for Chorme, is used to evaluate the contrast between the colors of the web application.
Manual check:
– Confirm that the font size can be increased and that the page is usable with a large font size.
– Check that there is a good visual highlighting of the element that receives the focus both with the mouse and the keyboard.
– Test pages at different screen resolutions and/or with different window sizes.
– Display pages so that they automatically take on the “High Contrast Black” or similar appearance, selected in the computer’s system options.
– Check the contrast between background and text, both in the contents and in the images.
