What is Castellón Cycling?

Castellón Cycling is an initiative of the Diputación de Castellón whose objective is to position the province as an outstanding destination for cycling, offering a wide network of routes and specialized services. With a focus on the diversity of landscapes and an infrastructure designed for the enjoyment and safety of cyclists, Castellón is presented as an ideal place for both amateurs and professionals. Its routes, which cross from the Mediterranean coast to the inland mountains, cover all cycling modalities: road, mountain and gravel, adapting to all levels.

Thanks to its Mediterranean climate and varied geography, Castellón has become a reference point for elite cyclists from all over the world. For years, professional teams have chosen the province as a base for their training, attracted by the quality of the routes and the specialized infrastructure. Castellón Cycling’s mission is to promote active and sports tourism in the province, highlighting its cycling routes and supporting the development of cycling tourism as an economic and cultural engine. Through this tool, a product club, the Castellón Provincial Tourist Board connects the different agents involved in the province’s cycling tourism activity to position itself in the market through a collaborative and participatory governance structure.

The purpose of these Regulations is to establish and determine the conditions governing the use of the differentiating element “Castellón Cycling”, and the requirements to be met by individuals or legal entities wishing to use it and the products for which such authorization is granted, in order to facilitate their identification and differentiation.

What are the objectives of Castellón Cycling?

Castellón Cycling is part of a strategy promoted by the Diputación de Castellón to promote cycling as a key tool for the social, economic and cultural growth of the province through actions that give value to our singularities in an increasingly globalized world. Castellón deserves in its own right, because of its infrastructure, its routes and its natural environment, to be on the national and international scene and to be recognized.

Castellón Cycling aims to make visible the companies, agents and cycling destinations in the province, as well as the routes that cross it, to facilitate access to sports tourism. This initiative seeks to bring closer and make identifiable the spaces and services related to cycling in Castellón. In this way, active and sustainable tourism is promoted, highlighting the richness of cycling tourism in the region. Castellón Cycling wants to incorporate all initiatives that want to continue growing based on quality standards, supported by a brand that identifies us with the territory. A brand that serves to facilitate rural, economic and sustainable development.
