P3. All pine forests

The Penyagolosa Natural Park and its forests have something special. Huge pine trees that seem to have no end, and that in autumn are filled with mushrooms. At an altitude of more than 1300 m, these trees stand as guardians of a deep silence, only interrupted by the sound of our tires. Leaving Vistabella and following the path to the “Pla de la Creu” by the Collet farmhouse, we are surrounded by forests that envelop us completely. We descend to the camping area of Sant Joan and, after a detour, we reach the sanctuary by its most hidden side, entering the shadows of the tracks. The climb from Sant Joan to the Bañadera prepares us for an exciting descent along the path from the Mas de Sanahuja, overlooking the solana, before reaching the foot of Chodos. From there, we begin the last climb to the crossroads, which will take us back to Vistabella, completing a route full of nature and adventure.
