PO2. Els Ports extreme

A route that has it all: effort, connection with nature and landscapes that feed the soul. From Morella, we follow old cattle trails, witnesses of a hard but authentic life, towards the Masía Campello. We enter the kermes oak groves, an oasis of silence where it seems that civilization is left behind. From there, we face a considerable climb towards Castellfort, one of the highest villages in the province, to reach the Celumbres ravine, a spectacular spot where two imposing rocks seem to face each other. Surrounded first by oak trees and then by slender pines, we ascend to the Roca Parda, enjoying an incomparable panoramic view. Leaving the wadi challenges us with steep slopes, but when we turn around, the view compensates: Morella majestic on the horizon, Castellfort on one side and the two eternal rocks in front. With Cinctorres at our feet, we pause before circling a unique area, where fossils remind us that this place was, millions of years ago, home to dinosaurs.
