E2. The Walls of Espadán

A demanding but rewarding route, where the hard climbs are combined with spectacular views of orange groves and the town of Vall d’Uixó. We start from Artana, ascending towards the Puntal and then turning off to enjoy a long descent on a path, which will take us to the Vall d’Uixó. Leaving it, we face challenging ramps, but the reward comes when we reach Alfondeguilla, surrounded by cork oaks. From there, we continue along old cattle trails to Chóvar, where the landscape of the area envelops us as we ascend towards Eslida, after the refreshing descent through the Umbría de Castro. Once in Eslida, enjoying the town will be the perfect finishing touch to this tough route, which ends in Artana, having tested our endurance and gratified our senses.
